My air fryer hit 100 uses this week and I was shocked
I started keeping a little tally on my fridge after I got the thing last fall, just for fun. I hit number 100 on Tuesday with a batch of roasted chickpeas (they're my go-to snack). It really hit me how much I've stopped using my big oven for small jobs, which saves a lot on my electric bill. Has anyone else tracked how often they use theirs and been surprised by the number?

That roasted chickpeas idea is a good one, I need to try that. I never kept a tally, but I realized I use mine almost daily for frozen fries or reheating pizza. It just feels pointless to heat up the whole oven for one serving of anything now.

Just realized I should probably name my air fryer at this point, since it's basically my third roommate. I use it so much for random stuff like cooking single sausages or crisping up leftover takeout fries. My actual oven probably thinks it's on permanent vacation.
