Vent: took me 4 months to figure out why my air fryer wings kept coming out dry
I got my air fryer back in March and the first thing I tried was wings. They came out dry and rubbery every single time for like 4 months. I tried lower temps, higher temps, foil, no foil, and even soaked them in buttermilk once which was a total mess. Then last week my buddy Marcus came over and watched me do it and just said, you're crowding the basket man. I had been piling 18 wings in a 5.8 quart basket this whole time. I split them into two batches of 9 and they came out crispy and juicy on the first try. Has anyone else made a dumb mistake like this for way too long?
