Always made fun of digital fault readers, but one just caught something big.

Honestly, I used to think these things were just expensive toys that slowed us down. Tbh, after it flagged a tiny crack in a fuel line I would've sworn was fine, I'm kinda mad at myself for resisting. How do you blend new tech with your gut checks on the line?

Bet you felt like a real genius eating crow on that one. Guess we're all just slowly becoming assistants to the machines we swore were useless.

That line about "slowly becoming assistants to the machines" hits hard, @noahlee. It's weird to need their help so much after making fun of them. We definitely all ate that crow together, lol.

It's the same with those phone apps that check your heart rate. Laughed at my buddy for using one until it told him his resting rate was way off. Now we both watch the numbers like hawks. Our gut feelings are good, but sometimes the tech spots the small stuff we miss. Ever notice how we trust the machine more after it saves us once?
