Finally tried ultrasonic cleaning on fuel injectors instead of just blowing them out

I always thought the $80 ultrasonic cleaner was a waste for a small GA shop like mine... but after three stuck injectors on a 172 last month I gave in. Pulled a set of injectors that looked completely clogged and they came out looking brand new after 15 minutes. Has anyone else seen a big difference with ultrasonics over the old compressed air method?

Real talk - what frequency did you run them at? I've heard conflicting things about whether 40khz or 80khz matters more for knocking carbon loose in those tiny passages. Curious if you noticed a difference in how the engine actually ran after, not just the visual clean look lol.

Used to run 40khz myself but 80khz definitely made a noticeable difference in smoothness, @coleman.jamie.
