I've gone back and forth on this myself and the deciding factor for me was always how much time I actually spend with the thing. Digital is convenient for sure but if the physical copy is gonna end up as decoration after a week then you might as well have saved ten bucks and gotten the tablet version.

The foil seal might help with humidity, but I've found the real issue is how quickly the cards break in from use. Those crushed seals can actually trap moisture against the cards if you live somewhere humid. Sticking with standard cellophane has always worked fine for me, what kind of humidity levels are you dealing with?

Was the email addressed to you by name or was it something generic like "valued employee"? That usually tells you right away if it's phishy or not.
