PSA: what 6 months of proper torque card discipline did to our wheel installs
I started keeping a paper torque card taped inside each wheel well about 6 months ago, mostly because our old guy in Tulsa kept harping on it. Before that we were logging values in the back of a clipboard and half the time the numbers never made it onto the card. Now every lug gets its value written down right at the wheel and initialed, and our rework on wheel installs dropped from maybe 4 a month to zero since March. Curious if anyone else does the tape-in-the-well thing or if you have a better spot that survives wash down and brake dust.
