I was at a training day in Dallas last week and the guy presenting pulled up their own call logs, which showed nearly 4 in 10 truck rolls were nothing but a battery swap or a loose wire on a zone, and it makes me wonder how much of our schedule is stuff a homeowner could handle with a $15 battery and a 5 minute video, so what is the dumbest repeat call you keep getting?
Had a call last month where the lady's "broken" system was just her flip phone in the wrong input on her TV remote, took me 4 minutes and she tipped me 20 bucks. Same week I drove 45 minutes to a house where the breaker for the air handler was just off, flipped it and left. Feels like half my tickets are stuff the phone guy could've talked them through but nobody bothers asking the right questions.
