inTook 11 months to fix our grocery spreadsheet mess
Gas station stops got us too, we were splitting them between food and car for way too long. Now we just put every gas purchase under auto, even the snacks, saves the headache.

inWasted $160 on a fancy meat grinder attachment, shoulda known better
Honestly I used to roll my eyes at people who said the KitchenAid grinder was junk because mine worked okay for chicken and softer stuff. Then I tried a chuck roast with some gristle in it and the thing jammed up so bad the plastic gear inside cracked. That's when it clicked for me that these attachments are built for light duty only, not real grinding. A standalone grinder with a metal drive gear is a totally different animal and you can find decent ones for around $120 to $150 if you shop around. Tbh I wish someone had told me sooner instead of me learning the hard way like you did. Your money isn't wasted though, you just found out what that attachment can and can't do.
