Just realized my drill battery hack for panel boxes might be controversial here

I found that using a right-angle adapter on a 12v impact instead of a full hammer drill saved me 2 hours on a 6-panel install in Austin last week because I could fit into tight stud bays, but I'm wondering if the torque trade-off causes more stripped screws long term - anyone else tried this shortcut and seen issues?

Oh man, I actually read a writeup from a sparky in Phoenix who swore by this exact trick for tight attic work. He said the lighter tool saved his wrist but he went through more bits over a year from the chatter. Might be worth it if you're not doing production work every day.

Honestly, nobody's talking about the battery weight distribution messing with your wrist angle. That right-angle adapter shifts the center of gravity way off, so you end up torquing sideways without realizing it. That's probably why your screws strip, not the torque itself.
