Spent 6 hours chasing a ground loop on a 32 zone panel in Austin

Had a commercial job in Austin last month with 32 zones and every time the AC kicked on, zone 14 would trip for no reason. I checked the wiring, swapped the sensor twice, and even replaced the EOL resistor before I finally found the shield drain wire touching a conduit fitting in the ceiling. How do you guys track down intermittent grounds without pulling your hair out?
