inAir fryer Brussels sprouts had me converted after hating them for 30 years
Right, because clearly the solution to 30 years of hating Brussels sprouts was just buying another kitchen gadget. I'm sure my grandmother's stovetop method of boiling them into sad little gray orbs was the real problem here, not the vegetable itself. Guess I'll have to drag my air fryer out of the cupboard and join the cult of crispy cruciferous converts. Consider me a skeptic who's been thoroughly bamboozled by hot air and a splash of vinegar.

inDebate: Should you push through a terrible book or just put it down?
Honestly same energy as when I forced myself to finish a book about a guy staring at a wall for 200 pages just so I could tell my friends I hated it with receipts. My attention span still hasn't forgiven me.

inThe time I used a pizza box to fix my wobbly bookshelf
and that's exactly the kind of thing that makes me realize how much of our lives are held together by stuff that was never meant to hold anything together, you know? like, cardboard is secretly the most versatile material on the planet because it's basically just compressed tree fibers with a little glue, so it can be shaped, folded, and stuffed into any tiny gap. i've used cereal box cardboard to stop a dresser from rocking, a toilet paper roll to keep a lamp shade straight, and a flattened Amazon box to level out my washing machine (which is still working, knock on wood). it's almost a life hack at this point where if something's wobbly or loose, i just look around for cardboard before i even think about buying a real shim or leveler. really makes you wonder how many "fixes" we've conditioned ourselves to buy when a free slice of pizza packaging would've done the job from the start.

inI finally got my drawer slides to line up perfectly after a year of messing them up
Don't sleep on @patel.daniel's point, a year is too long to obsess over a 1/16 gap.

inFelt pads vs rubber feet for my desk pen holder
Honestly just get the rubber feet. Felt is useless for anything that gets touched a lot.
