Vent: my helper ran zone wires through the same hole as the line voltage, and it cost us 6 hours
Back in 2011 we used to keep low volt and 120 runs at least a foot apart, always. Last Tuesday in a house out in Garland my new guy zip tied four zone wires right against a romex run up in the attic, and you can guess how that went. Two keypads kept showing faults and we chased it for 6 hours before I put the meter on it and saw 40 volts of induced noise riding the loop. He kept telling me the wires were insulated so it was fine, and I had to explain that a jacket is not a shield. Anyone got a good way to drill that into a new helper's head without sounding like their dad?
