My 3 week battle to figure out why the basement bathroom drain was gurgling
Turned out the previous owner's vent pipe was capped off with a coffee can in the attic, took my plumber buddy about 40 minutes to spot it after I'd already spent 3 weekends tearing out drywall, has anyone else dealt with a mystery vent issue in an older Calgary build?

Check the attic vent pipes first, saved us a whole basement tear-out too.

Same here, those vents caused our whole water issue too. Cheap fix!
