TIL everyone in this town thinks a south-facing lot is a dealbreaker, but I'd pick one again
Everyone in my neighborhood group keeps saying to avoid south-facing lots here in St. Albert because of the afternoon sun, but after living on one on Grandin for 6 years I'd take it over my old north lot any day. My last place had ice packed on the driveway from November to March, and now the sun clears it by noon. I get that summer heat is real, but a few blinds and a tree fixed that for me. Am I missing something about resale, or is this just something people repeat without thinking?
