Picked a metal roof over shingles on my place near Eubank and I keep going back and forth on it
Two bids came in around $19,000 for shingles vs $27,000 for standing seam on my 1,800 square foot house off Eubank, and I picked the metal after a hail claim on the old roof scared me. The install crew was fine and it looks sharp, but it's been loud in the rain and I'm second guessing the cost gap. For you all who went metal, did the noise bother you at first or is it just me?
