Rant: my hail repair guy quoted $9k, but the adjuster's number saved me
I called three roofers after the April storm and the first one wanted $9,000 for a full replacement, but my insurance adjuster walked the roof with me and pointed out only 4 shingle tabs needed patching, so I paid $475 out of pocket and skipped the whole re-roof, has anyone else had contractors inflate damage before the inspection?

Adjusters usually get blamed, but they saved you from a $9k mistake.
