Stucco patch cracked again after winter, neighbor's trick with paper tape fixed it
Patching the same spot on my north wall for the third time and it kept cracking every spring. My neighbor came over and said to embed fiberglass tape over the crack before the new mud, not just smear it on. Used his method last October and the patch is still clean through this month's freeze thaw cycle. Anyone else fight recurring stucco cracks around ABQ or is my adobe just old and cranky?
