Vent: The realtor who told me my backyard needed a "vision"

Had a showing agent come by last Tuesday to look at my house before listing. She walked into the backyard, looked at my 15-foot patch of dirt and dead grass, and said I needed to "envision the potential" before she could market it. I told her I've been envisioning it for 3 years while the weeds took over. She literally suggested I install a fake putting green to sell the place faster. Anybody else get a wild suggestion from a realtor that made you question their whole approach?

Wait, I mean is a putting green actually kind of genius though? It's basically just a nice patch of grass that's easy to maintain compared to a normal lawn plus it could totally set your house apart from the boring yards in the neighborhood. Idk, maybe she just knew the market there better than we'd expect.

My cousin installed a putting green in his backyard back in '07. Spent something like $8,000 on it, including the sand trap and a little flag. He's not even a golfer. He just liked the look. The thing is, after about two years the neighborhood kids turned it into a bike ramp course, and he ended up tearing it out because the sod got all rutted up. It looked amazing for maybe six months though. So I guess it depends on your definition of easy to maintain.
