That $60 "film tested" Olympus off eBay cost me a whole roll and a Saturday
Bought an Olympus XA2 from a seller in Sacramento who said "film tested, light seals good." Shot a full roll at my cousin's birthday and got 24 blank frames back, because the shutter was stuck and the seals were crumbly. My local shop in Fresno charged me $85 to fix it, so that "deal" cost more than just buying one from a shop that stands behind it. Ask for sample shots from the actual camera (not stock photos) and check the seals yourself before you pay. Anyone got a go-to seller who actually tests their stuff?
