Dishwasher pump swap: OEM part vs the cheap knockoff, lesson learned

Had a GE model from 2019 in Columbus Ohio that kept throwing an F7 code, so i grabbed a $45 pump off amazon instead of the $110 OEM one. Dude, it ran quieter for like 2 weeks then started grinding like a bag of rocks, tore it out and the impeller was already warped. Stuck the real part in on monday and its been perfect since, anyone else waste money on those bargain bin parts or was i just unlucky?
