I finally learned why that old lady kept calling me back

Fixed her refrigerator three times in six months. Last time she stood in the kitchen and watched me, then said 'you're missing the rubber strip behind the fan cover.' She was right. How do you handle customers who know more than they let on?

Take a step back and ask yourself if this is really that big of a deal. I mean, she helped you fix it, right? She didn't make you look bad or waste your time, she just quietly pointed out what you missed. Idk, maybe I'm the odd one out here but I'd rather have a customer who knows what they're talking about than one who just nods along and then complains later. If anything, she saved you from coming back a fourth time, which honestly sounds like a win for everyone. People act like clients with knowledge are a threat, but maybe it's just a chance to learn something and move on.

Three times in one week and I'd be ready to throw my toolbox in a lake too. But honestly, I'd rather have a client who can spot my screwups than one who leaves a one star review three weeks later.
