Started wiping condenser coils with a brush first and my callback rate on fridge jobs dropped hard
I used to hit every fridge with a shop vac and call it good, then I'd get called back 2 or 3 times a summer for the same unit not cooling. Six weeks back a guy in Portland showed me his routine: stiff brush down the coil fins first, then vacuum, then a rinse with coil cleaner. My callback rate went from about 1 in 4 to 1 in 12 on the last 30 jobs, no joke. The brush gets the matted dust the vac just glides over. Anybody else doing the brush-then-vac order or am I late to this?
