That GE dryer took me 6 hours to fix, turned out to be a 40 cent thermal fuse
I replaced the heating element, checked the thermostat, even rewired the timer connection on a 2018 model before I noticed the original fuse tested fine cold but failed once the drum warmed up, and I keep wondering how many other repairs I've overthought because I skipped the simple checks first, has anyone else spent a full day on a part that costs less than a coffee?
