Dropped $340 on a gas pole saw and it paid for itself in 2 months

I was skeptical about spending that much on a Stihl Kombi system with the pole saw attachment, but after clearing storm damage on 14 properties in Lakewood last summer it beat hand sawing and ladder climbing by a mile, and I want to know if anyone else thinks the cheaper electric ones actually hold up on bigger limbs or if that's just wishful thinking.
