Finally got the city to approve the removal of that dangerous oak on Elm Street... took almost three years of paperwork.

Three years for a tree permit seems like a lot. Was the tree actually dropping big branches on cars, or did someone just not like the leaves in their gutters. Sometimes these things get blown way out of proportion by a few loud people. Feels like the city could handle actual problems faster if this is what takes up all their time.
