My acrylic pour cracked after 2 weeks and I'm actually relieved
The pouring medium I traded for on here separated on the canvas so the whole thing flaked off, but honestly it forced me to try a palette knife instead and now my colors actually look like something, has anyone else had a failed medium turn into a better habit?

Last winter I had a batch of cheap craft store medium go bad on me after about ten days, the whole pour looked like cracked mud. I switched to a dry brush technique just to finish the piece, and now that's pretty much all I do. The separation actually showed me I was pouring way too thick, and the knife gives me so much more control over where the color lands. I still keep a bottle of proper pouring medium around for small pieces, but most days I reach for the palette knife first. Sometimes the paint decides what you need to learn, whether you like it or not.
