Just realized I wasted 3 hours trying to pair a Bluetooth speaker to my laptop because I never checked if the little light was blinking
Spent 3 hours last Tuesday trying to get my JBL Flip 5 to connect to my old Dell laptop. I kept turning the speaker off and on, restarting the computer twice, and even looked up a bunch of forum posts about driver updates. Turns out the speaker was still paired to my phone in the other room and was just waiting for that connection. Unpaired my phone, pressed the Bluetooth button until it blinked fast, and it showed up on my laptop in like 10 seconds. Has anyone else run into a device that was already hooked to something else and just gave up instead of telling you?
