Warning: That one perfect week at work actually cost me my sanity
Last March I had a full 5 day stretch where every single deal closed early, clients were happy, and my boss actually said 'great job' out loud, but then the following Monday I came in to find three of those deals had fallen apart because I missed a key clause in contracts and now I double check every single line before I hit send, has anyone else had a week that went too smooth only to blow up later?

Right, because sanity has a quota system now. You gotta bring a note from your doctor saying you've met the minimum crying requirement before they hand you the pamphlet. Maybe if you show up with a filing cabinet full of red string and conspiracy theories they'll bump you up the waitlist. The whole system is a joke, you have to practically be screaming into the void before anyone says "oh, maybe she needs a day off.

Whoa, I don't think that's quite how "sanity" works.

Three people I know have been told they're "too sane" to qualify for help in the mental health system... it's like you have to be falling apart completely before they take you seriously. That whole sanity yardstick is so messed up.
