That $250 smart telescope I bought in March collects dust now
The phone app took 10 minutes to connect every clear night and by the time it worked the moon had moved completely out of frame, has anyone else had this luck with auto-finders?
Honestly a 10 minute connect time is annoying but saying it collects dust over that seems a bit much. Most of these scopes need a good wifi signal and a clear view of the sky, so if you're setting it up near the house or under trees it'll struggle no matter what. I've seen people fix this stuff by just moving the router closer or doing the alignment in a more open spot. Did you try any of that before giving up on it?
