TIL my telescope was pointed at a satellite for 40 minutes and I never noticed
Last Saturday I set up in the backyard in Boise to shoot the Orion Nebula and got weirdly excited about a 'new star' that turned out to be a passing satellite streaking through my subs. Has anyone else ever stacked a full hour of frames before realizing the target was drifting the whole time?

Wouldn't you know it way sooner just by looking at the frames?
