Rant: my MARTA card died at the Five Points gate Monday and I had to rethink the whole tap thing
My Breeze card just quit on me during rush hour Monday morning at Five Points, gate flashed red with 3 people behind me and $12 still loaded on it. The station agent told me the old plastic cards get demagnetized by phone cases, so I switched to the app version on my phone and honestly it works smoother than the card ever did. Anyone else make this switch after a card died on them, or am I the last person in Atlanta still using the physical one?
