The MARTA driver at Five Points told me to stop looking at my phone and watch the signs, best commute advice I've gotten
I was standing on the platform at Five Points trying to figure out which train went to the airport and a driver on his break pointed at the overhead signs and said the train line color never changes, just the destination board. Now I glance up once instead of refreshing the app 15 times. Has anyone else noticed the app and the signs don't always match?

That driver pointing at the overhead signs is the real MVP. Reminds me of a guy I knew who worked nights at the airport and swore by the train color too, said the destination board is what actually matters, the color just tells you which track to stand over. I made the mistake once of trusting my phone over the sign and ended up on the wrong line heading god knows where. Took me an extra 40 minutes to get back and I was late for a flight. The app is handy but it lags behind what is actually happening on the platform. Signs don't lie, the train sitting right in front of you is proof. Glance up, trust your eyes, keep it moving.
