Finally sprayed clear coat with zero dust nibs after fixing my booth fan setup
I reworked the intake filters on my booth at the shop on Route 9 in Poughkeepsie last weekend, sealing the gaps around the fan housing with foam tape I grabbed for $6 at the hardware store. Did a test panel on Monday and then a full respray on a silver Corolla door, and there was not one dust nib in the clear. I have been chasing dirt in my finish for close to 2 years, so this felt huge. Anyone here run a crossflow booth and have a trick for keeping the fan side sealed when you swap filters?
