I finally looked up why my paint jobs kept getting tiny specks in them
Kept pulling my hair out over little dust nibs in clear coat on a Silverado I shot last Tuesday, so I went down a rabbit hole on a body shop forum and found a post from a guy in Fresno. He said most of that junk comes off your own clothes, not the booth, since cotton shop rags and hoodie strings shed like crazy under the lights. I swapped to lint free wipes and a clean tyvek suit before every coat and my last two panels came out clean, no wet sanding needed. What's everyone else doing to keep the booth dust down, or am I the last guy to hear this?
