Put a broker in the middle on my Tucson to Denver haul and I'm done with them
I had to pick between a broker who quoted $950 and a small carrier out of Pueblo who quoted $1,100 for my truck. I went with the broker because it was cheaper and I figured a middleman would keep things moving. Pickup got pushed back 3 days and then the actual driver showed up in a truck that looked like it barely survived the drive itself. The carrier I skipped called me twice to check in while the broker's guy stopped answering his phone at 7pm. Has anyone actually had a broker come through on a long haul, or am I just unlucky?
