Realized my enclosed carrier straps were rubbing paint for 3 trips
I shipped a 1967 Mustang from Phoenix to Denver last month and noticed a weird dull spot near the rear quarter panel when it arrived. The transport guy pointed at the wheel tie-down straps and said they had been sitting against the fender edge the whole drive. Turns out I had been threading the straps through the wrong loop on my own trailer for the last 3 hauls, and nobody caught it until now. Anyone else ever discover a setup mistake only after a customer pointed it out, or am I the only one who missed something this obvious for that long?
