Unpopular opinion: brokers with the lowest quotes caused my move to get worse, not better
I booked a move from Vegas to Portland 3 months back and went with the cheapest quote at $780 instead of the $1,150 one, and the pickup window slid from 3 days to 11 days. I called around after and a dispatcher told me flat out that lowball brokers just hold your car until they can bundle it with a full load heading north. Has anyone else noticed the cheap quote actually costs you time, or did I just get unlucky?
