PSA: I stopped paying for open transport on my classics and now I just drive them myself
Used to book open carrier shipping every time I bought a car out of state and just crossed my fingers for 2 weeks. Last year I paid $1,400 to move a '68 Mustang from Tucson to Denver and the driver called me 3 times to push the pickup date. Now I rent a U-Haul trailer for $180 and do the drive myself, way less stress even with the gas. Anyone else just give up on brokers and haul their own stuff?
