Why does nobody talk about the deli counter at Garcia's Market?

Makes total sense. Good pimento cheese is just cheddar, mayo, and pimentos. That's it. Paying $7 for a tub of it is wild when you could make a better batch at home in five minutes. But $3.50 for someone else to do the work and use real ingredients? That's a fair trade.

Picked hardwired over wireless for a big commercial job

I gotta push back on that a little. On a big job last month I went wireless for a 16 zone system in a concrete office building and it's been perfect. Zero drops, no interference. The new gear, like the Honeywell 5800 series, handles concrete way better than stuff from five years ago. Conduit and wire is a huge time suck and cost blowout for the client, especially when you're fishing through block walls.

Just ran into my old neighbor at the Dekalb Farmers Market who called me out for my terrible parking

Oh man, that market lot is pure chaos... I got yelled at by my old golf buddy last summer for cutting him off at the grocery store on purpose back in high school. Told me I still drive like I'm late for everything.

Visited a retro game store in Akron last weekend and saw something wild

Oh yeah because nothing says "smart investment" like dropping your kid's college fund on a dusty cartridge that smells like a basement from 1992. But hey, at least you'll have bragging rights when you tell people you own a piece of plastic that costs more than their car. I guess the people paying that much for old games are the same ones who swear their Beanie Babies are gonna pay off someday. Don't get me wrong, I love retro gaming as much as the next guy, but there's a fine line between nostalgia and just being plain old crazy.

Overheard a guy at the coffee shop talking about his password manager getting hacked...

Yeah I keep mine on paper in a fire safe, feels safer than digital honestly.
