Rant: my car arrived with a cracked bumper and nobody warned me about the yard swap
I moved from Phoenix to Atlanta for work and hired a broker back in March to ship my 2016 Camry. The quote was $1,150 and they picked it up on a Tuesday, said 7 to 10 days. Day 12 I called and got a totally different company name than the one on my paperwork. Turns out the broker sold my job to another carrier and never said a word. When the car finally showed up on day 18, the front bumper had a crack about 6 inches long and the driver said it was already there in his photos. His photos were blurry and taken from like 30 feet away. I had my own pics from the morning of pickup showing a clean bumper, so I filed a claim, but the carrier says I signed a condition report without noting damage. I'm out $400 so far on a shop estimate. Has anyone actually won one of these damage claims, and what did you do that worked?
