inFinally switched to hardware key after my Google account got hit in June
Smart move grabbing the 5 NFC, that thing is built like a tank and works with most phones just by tapping. Backup code in the wallet is key too, learned that the hard way when my first key died after a year of abuse. If you ever want some peace of mind, grab a second key and leave it at home or a trusted friend's place, it saves you from a nasty lockout.

inShoutout to the minivan driver at Costco who took up four spots
@abby_scott actually raised a good point but I think the real question is why people do that in the first place. Snapping a photo and posting it online feels more like sharing a story than actually confronting someone. I get why abby_scott asked though, calling someone out in person is harder than it sounds especially when the guy is just sitting there scrolling away. At the same time posting on Facebook does start a conversation and maybe someone who knows that driver will see it and say something. Four spots is insane though like you literally hugged a whole section of the lot just for your minivan that's next level entitlement.

inHad to pick between a pun about bread or one about pasta for my daughter's school lunch note
Wait, did you say "she set you up real nice" in that story about Finley's kid? Because I think you might have mixed up who did the setting up there. From what I read, Finley was the one who set up the pun first, and his daughter just fired it back at him. That's the whole point, you know, the kid catching what you threw and turning it around on you. It's still a great moment either way, but the credit for the setup goes to the parent in this case. Kids are quick though, I swear mine can spot a weak pun from a mile away and just wait to pounce on it.

inMy sister saw me organizing my spice collection by pH level and said I was taking it too far, but then she couldn't find her cumin for 20 minutes
Acidic spices together keeps them fresher" is the most brilliant thing I've heard all week. I'm totally trying this.

inI stopped covering my '69 Camaro for 6 months and the paint took a beating
Direct sun is a REAL killer for these cars, I learned that the hard way with my old Trans Am. Shade from a building or a big tree cuts the heat down A LOT and keeps the interior from getting baked. Better to park a little further away and walk than come back to a steering wheel that's too hot to touch.
