Tried the PCT permit lottery for 2 years, then just walked the Colorado Trail instead
Everyone I know is fighting over a 35 person daily quota on the PCT while the CT sits right there with no permit needed at all. I did 486 miles from Denver to Durango last August and saw maybe 4 people a day. Why does everyone sleep on it?
