My 3 hens went from 1 egg a day to 4 after I swapped their feeder spot
For about 2 months my Rhode Island Reds were giving me maybe one egg a day between the three of them, and I couldn't figure out why. Turns out the feeder was sitting right next to the coop door where the dog runs past, so they were barely eating. Moved it to the quiet back corner of the run two weeks ago and now I'm getting 3 to 4 eggs a day, which is more than I know what to do with. Anyone else had a spot in their run that stressed the girls out without you realizing it?
