Saturn decided to hide right as my neighbor finally came over
Set up my old 4.5 inch dob last Tuesday in Tucson and spent 20 minutes lining up the finder scope. Just as Saturn drifted into view, a cloud bank rolled in and sat there for an hour, and my neighbor stood there nodding at a gray patch of sky. He said it looked real nice, which was generous. Has anyone else had a celestial object vanish at the worst possible second, or does my luck just follow me outside?
