My Blu-ray player died 20 minutes into 'The Room' and I think it was a sign from the universe
So last Friday my buddy Dave came over for our monthly bad movie night and we picked The Room, you know, the classic. Twenty minutes in, right after the famous 'oh hi Mark' scene, my 8 year old Sony player just froze and started making this awful clicking noise. I paid $12 for that disc at a flea market in Akron and now I can't even finish it. I checked the player and the disc, no scratches, so I think the laser finally gave out. We ended up watching Troll 2 on my laptop instead, which honestly felt like a step down. Has anybody else had a player die mid-movie on bad movie night, and did you just buy a new one or switch to streaming?
