Why does nobody tell you the bad movie is better with the commentary track on
I used to skip commentary tracks on my bad movie picks because I figured it was just guys patting themselves on the back for 90 minutes. Then my buddy Dale put on the commentary for a 1987 creature feature we had already laughed at twice, and hearing the director admit the monster was a painted pumpkin wrapped in wet towels from a hardware store in Fresno had me on the floor. It sounds so much better when they own it, like a free second movie stacked on top of the first one. Now I check for a commentary before I even hit play, but I'm picky about which ones are worth it. Which bad movie commentaries do you keep going back to, and which ones are just people talking over the good parts?
