Showerthought: my sourdough starter survived a week in my truck during the Indiana heat
Left my starter in the cupholder by accident when I drove from Fort Wayne to Indy for a job interview 12 days ago. Found it yesterday, expecting a science experiment gone wrong. It had a dark crust on top but underneath it was bubbling harder than anything in my kitchen jar. So now I keep a backup jar in the truck. Anyone else have a starter that does better with neglect than attention?
