That $15 bread lame from Amazon actually works great

I was sure a cheap lame would tear my dough and just be a waste of money after spending $12 on a fancy one before. But I've used this one for 6 weeks now and my scoring is way more consistent than with my old tool. Anyone else find a budget baking tool that surprised them?

You said it made your scoring "way more consistent" than your old $12 lame, which is interesting. How does the blade hold up after six weeks of use, are you noticing any dulling or rust around the edge? I feel like that's always the issue with cheaper tools, they work great at first then fall apart.
