Dropped my cake for the office party right in the driveway, and honestly the frosting thing saved it
I baked a carrot cake for a coworker's goodbye party last Friday and watched the whole thing slide off the plate onto my driveway in Boise. I stood there for a second, then scraped the top layer off and rebuilt it in a smaller pan with a thick coat of cream cheese frosting to hide the crumb mess. My neighbor Deb saw the whole thing from her porch and said it still looked better than the store ones. Anyone else figure out a save like this, or did you just run to the grocery store?
