Hit a weird milestone with my cherry tomatoes last week

I've been growing cherry tomatoes on my 3x5 balcony in Chicago for about 2 years now. Last week I counted 47 ripe ones off a single plant and I was honestly shocked because my first year I only got like 8 total. Anyone else ever hit a number that felt way bigger than you expected from a small space?

47 from one plant on a balcony isn't bad at all. You sure you didn't miscount though? Those little guys hide under the leaves pretty good.

Paige might be onto something though. Reminds me of when I tried counting fireflies one summer and kept losing track because they kept blinking out. Sometimes you just gotta trust the plant knows what it's doing.
